Massage: Remedial Massage, Bodywork and Esoteric Massage
Francisco has been practising massage for over eleven years and has a deep understanding of the body. His approach to massage is based on the requirements of each client. There is no set routine that is applied without consideration of the body he is working with. Because of this each massage is unique and highly tailored to the needs of each person who comes for a session.

Francisco uses a number of techniques including Remedial Massage, Esoteric Massage and Deep Tissue work (without the usual pressure associated with this technique.) He explains:
Often people understand Deep Tissue work to mean massage that is done with force or deep pressure. There is a commonly held belief that 'the more pain the better, that if it isn't hurting it isn't working.' But the kind of Deep Tissue work that I do is simply techniques to warm the muscles so that the deeper tissue can be engaged in the massage process. This can be done with absolute respect to the body and need not cause pain or damage the tissue and cause bruising. |

I encourage clients to give this form of massage a go and people are amazed at how relaxed they are after the treatment but also the deep benefit to the body. They realise they don't have to wait for two days for the pain to subside, from the massage itself. That the healing can take place without the force.
In working in the body this way, with respect and a deep care, the body can deeply let go and the nervous tension and emotional stressors that are causing the body to be locked up in the first place, are able to be released. This is the person healing themselves, with the massage simply acting as a means to facilitate them to discard the behaviours and patterns that are causing them to move in a way that is against their natural flow.
